Electronic Current Burden (1; 2; 5 A)
Electronic Current Burden M402 is designed to provide a programmable burden in the secondary circuits of current transformers during verification, calibration, and testing.
Its wide programmable burden power range allows the simulation of most standard burdens specified by national and international standards, as well as user-defined burden values according to specific application requirements
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- Wide range of burden values according to standards: IEC 61869-2, IEC 60044-1, IEEE C57.13
- Standard and non-standard burden power values at rated secondary currents: 1; 2; 5 А
- Rated burden power range:
0; 0,5…100 VА, cos φ = 0,5…1 at 50 and 60 Hz
- Input cable, contact and internal test set resistances are compensated by four-conductor connection
- Simple use by intuitive user interface
- Storage of individual burden settings, which can be retrieved as required
- Possibility of using with automated current transformer calibration systems
- The burden values range can be extented by connecting several devices in series
- Small size and low weight
